Mercury Sunshine!

*As always, please keep Barbara Noel-Williams in your thoughts- she is a WARRIOR in her fight against cancer!!!!

Let me know of any concerns or celebrations within our Mosaica Online family!

Club Corner

We are excited about our clubs for the 2013-2014 school year!

Students will have the opportunity to be involved in:

Art Club - led by Elizabeth Kamper

Book Club - led by Allie Byrne (ES), & Emily Alley (MS & HS)

Cooking Club - led by Allie Byrne

Please remember that students will still need some hand holding and guidance, even if they went through orientation. Just like us, we go through a training and many times questions come up once we get into our courses. Please make sure that you log in each night and check for emails. You can always send students to their advisor if you are not available during the day- maybe put a little note in your news items. Let them know you will get back to them as soon as you can. Don't put a time on it- incase something happens and you cannot get on until later. If you notice a student has not completed an assignment that day- reach out and see if they need help. They may need to learn how to adjust to their new environment. I will say MS students seem to have a hard time adjusting as they're not used to more than 1 teacher.

Non Charter Mosaica Online Locations:

Besides our students in AZ, CA, CO, & OH we are serving students in many other locations....

New students are joining us on Monday from American School Foundation in Mexico City and from Foundation Academy of Mansfield, Ohio. Our other supplementary program students will be starting on September 3rd, so remember to check the Special Student Enrollment spreadsheet in Google Docs for your student, parent, and facilitator contact information. There is a link to this on your homepage in your Parent Contact news item.

Please copy Paula Galland and Maria Savoldi on your correspondence with parents and facilitators and send any question you might have their way. If you use Skype, it would be a great idea to include your Skype address in your signature file so those outside of the United States can contact you this way when you are online.
