E-learning Plans for April

Our next round of e-learning begins on Monday, April 13th.

If your child has been completing work digitally, the next week's lessons will be available via Canvas by 2:00 p.m. each Friday. For example, the assignments for the week of April 13th will be available by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10th.

If your child has been completing work via packet, the next 9 lessons will be available at Vienna-Finley starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13th. Please bring your child's packet from the week of March 16th. In exchange you will receive the next set of lessons that students will complete during the month of April.

Packet pick up and drop off is available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. during the week of April 13th. It will take place through the car line, so you will not leave your vehicle during the process.

Teachers will be available to answer questions for all students via phone/email from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from April 13th through May 1st.

Meals continue to be available every Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. until noon. Food is available at all six schools in Scott 2 as well as 13 remote sites throughout the county. A map is located on the Scott 2 website as well as the Vienna-Finley Facebook page.

Please call the VFES office at (812) 752-8925 if you have any questions.

The VFES Walk-a-thon has been postponed until a later date (possibly in the fall).

If you have collected money for the Walk-a-thon, you can hold it until registration dates prior to the 2020-2021 school year. PTO representatives will have a table at registration and will be available to collect the money at that time.

PTO officers are in contact with the online donation company to get those funds rolled over to the new Walk-a-thon date.

You can participate in this service just by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587.

You can also opt out of these messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.
