Welcome to October Sexton Families!
Dear Sexton Families,
Hello Sexton High School Families,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits as we embark on the month of October.
As the principal of Sexton High School, I am writing to share some important updates and highlights for this month. I want to express my gratitude to our dedicated staff, hardworking students, and supportive families for their commitment to academic success and the overall growth of our school community.
Firstly, I would like to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of our students who participated in various extracurricular activities and brought glory to Sexton High School. Our volleyball, soccer, cross country, cheerleaders, and our undefeated #7 state ranked football team have demonstrated remarkable teamwork and sportsmanship during their recent games, and I congratulate them on their achievements. Let us continue to support and encourage our student-athletes as they strive for excellence both on and off the field.
October brings with it a renewed focus on academics. Our dedicated teachers have been working diligently to provide engaging and rigorous instruction that meets the diverse needs of our students. We encourage parents and guardians to maintain open lines of communication with our teachers and stay involved in their child's academic journey. Together, we can create a supportive learning environment that fosters success for all.
In line with our commitment to developing the whole child, Sexton High School will be hosting parent-teacher conferences October 11th, from 4pm-7pm. I encourage all parents to come and bring your students, we will be providing dinner for families attending conferences. As part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, I would like to remind students and parents about the availability of our counseling services. Our dedicated team of counselors are here to provide guidance, support, and resources for academic and personal development. Do not hesitate to reach out to them should you need assistance.
Finally, I extend my appreciation to our outstanding faculty and staff for their tireless efforts in creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment. The dedication and commitment they demonstrate every day make Sexton High School a place where students can thrive and reach their full potential.
Wishing you a wonderful month filled joy, growth, and achievement.
Sincerely,
Daniel Boggan
