Learning Ahead: Nov. 16th-20th
Science: We will continue our unit on friction focusing on gravity and magnetism.
Words Their Way: We will not have new spelling words until after Thanksgiving break.
Writing/LA: Students are starting a project using technology to demonstrate characteristics of good citizenship. They must relate these characteristics to historical or current figures.
Reading/Social Studies: We are going to be reading Thanksgiving poems and visualizing the words, working on word meaning, and comprehending the meaning.
Math: We will start our new unit on multiplication mid week. We will begin slowly by understanding groupings and how to have equal amounts of groups and objects. We will start our multiplication timed tests after Thanksgiving Break. This is something students participate in to earn a "special"!!!
