Can we help raise 5,000 cans?

Junior Optimist Club members are working with other clubs at Plainfield Community Middle School to collect canned foods for St. Mark's food pantry. Flyer

Middle school classes are competing for the highest percentage of cans. Winner gets a DONUT PARTY!

Goal is to collect 5,000 cans by Friday, Nov 20. Only a week and a half left to drop your items at the middle school front office - help out this generous effort!

Contact Denise Williams, Club/School Sponsor, at dwilliams@plainfield.k12.in.us with questions.

Can't think of a better way to WRAP UP 2014

Plainfield Optimist Club will be hosting FREE GIFT-WRAPPING services on Fridays and Saturdays from December 6th through December 20th at ChickFilA Restaurant in Plainfield.

This is what Optimism is all about!

Volunteers will be wrapping gifts for interested parties in a designated area within the restaurant.

We need YOU (volunteers) to help make this event successful! Invite your family and friends to join you in serving others this holiday season! CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP

Each event will accept at-will donations to be used for Optimist programs including this year's Needy Family Christmas program.

If you are unable to wrap but would like to participate in another way, please consider:

  • donating gift wrapping paper, gift tags, gift boxes/bags, tape, etc.
  • we will be collecting at-will donations...stop in and say hello!
  • volunteers love treats!
  • tell others about what we're doing!
