When you are a commercial diver it is your job to do marine research, help build underwater structures such as bridge supports, conduct tests and experiments, and rig underwater explosives. The coolest part of this job is that you get payed to go scuba diving while some tourists pay hundreds of dollars just to go once.

This benefits the construction of bridges by building under water supports to keep the bridge from crumbling. Education requirements needed are to have studied physics, algebra, and if available marine biology in high school. And need at least avocational or associate's degree.
