Warrior Weekly Update
Student Focused-World Class
A Word from Holly...
Dear JSMS Families,
I could not be more excited about the upcoming school year. Thank you to all of you who came out to join us for the JSMS Back-to-School Bash! It was great to be back with our Warrior Family!
Our doors open each day at 7:00 am. Students may go to the large gym to sit with friends before school. Breakfast is served beginning at 7:15 each day and is free to all students. Tomorrow, we will have a brief school-wide assembly to welcome students. Following a welcome, students will be called by their first period class to be dismissed with their teacher. This will insure that all students feel confident getting to their first period class.
School will be dismissed at 2:45. If your child is a bus rider, please make sure that your child knows which bus they ride. The bus stop is on the Catawba Street side of the building.
If your child is a car rider, they will exit out the front doors of the building. Please make sure that your child is picked up by 3:00. This is for their safety. At 3:00, all students will be escorted back to the office to call their rides. Students will wait inside the school building to be picked up. Again, this is for their safety.
The teachers and staff of John Sevier have been working tirelessly to prepare for TOMORROW! Your child's success is their first priority. I know that you will find the teachers and staff at John Sevier to be characterized by love and passion. As a result, the students of JSMS receive an education that truly is STUDENT FOCUSED-WORLD CLASS!
Proud to be a Warrior,
