SENIORS & SENIOR PARENTS
Dear Senior Parent,
The Counseling Department at LSW would like to record ALL scholarships that have been OFFERED and/or AWARDED to the Class of 2020. By sharing this information, your student’s scholarship(s) will be included in the total which combines all offers from local, national, and institutional (awarded through a college/university) organizations, even if the scholarship will not be used. A+ awards will be automatically added by Mrs. King.
Please note: We are seeking the “TOTAL VALUE” of the scholarship, therefore, if a scholarship is offered for $1,000 per year for up to four years, the total value would be $4,000.
Please include your student's name and the following information for each award:
-Award (include college/university or organization name, if applicable)
-Amount
-Will the scholarship be used? Yes or No
Please email scholarship information to Melissa.king@lsr7.net by Tuesday, April 28th.
Thank you from the LSW Counseling Department.

Titan A+ Program
The A+ Program at Lee’s Summit West strives to ensure that students are prepared for and successful in life beyond high school. The A+ Program works to provide students with continuous and progressive career information throughout the students’ years at Lee’s Summit West. It also focuses on ensuring that students have course offerings that prepare them for their paths after high school. And finally, the A+ Program helps to make courses rigorous and relevant to the world outside the classroom.
Graduates of designated A+ schools who successfully complete the requirements of the A+ Program may be eligible to receive reimbursement for the cost of tuition and general fees while attending a Missouri public community college or vocational/technical school on a full-time basis. The A+ Program may provide these educational incentives provided state funds are appropriated by the legislature. The PLUS stands for financial incentives designed to aid students who wish to continue their education beyond high school and prepare for success!
