When?
This year the TASC State Convention is from April 25th-27th in Irving, Texas.
Isn't booking for transportation difficult?
It sure is! So, travel with us! We'll book your hotel rooms and arrange charter bus transportation for you and your group. You just have to arrive and it'll be a stress free weekend!

State Report Verification
When?
State Report Verification is occurring February 29th, at John Jay High School from 9:30am - 12:30pm
What is this for?
This event is to verify/grade the State Reports that are turned in from our StuCo district. If you are turning in reports, please bring them with you. There are 6 reports in total that you can fill out and turn in. The AASC Scholarship Application is also due this day:

When?
The AASC District Convention is occurring March 28th, at Brennan High School from 9:30am - 3:30pm.
How can my school run for AASC District Office?
Please see the attached document. Running for District Office is very rewarding for the student/sponsor involved! Be sure to read the attached document, "How to run for AASC office." These are guidelines to help you prepare for your campaign, skit and platform.
The following positions on the Executive Board (with a student representative) are available this year:
President
1st Vice President
2nd Vice President
Secretary
Historian/Reporter
Parliamentarian
The following positions on the Executive Board (without a student representative) are available this year:
District Coordinator
Treasurer
If you are planning to run for a position on the Executive Board with a student representative (President, 1st VP, 2nd VP, Sec, Historian, or Parliamentarian), complete the following paperwork:
Declaration of Candidacy (Due March 6th)
Intent to run for AASC office (Due March 6th)
If you are planning to run for a position on the executive Board without a student representative (District Coordinator, Treasurer), complete the following:
Intent to run for AASC office (Due March 6th)
Letter of Intent to serve on the board and your qualifications (Due March 6th)
