  • SBES had 100% completion rate for our mClass Assessments!
  • Our Academic Derby team won their first three matches!
  • Three SBES students were selected to participate in the NC Honors Chorus. Congrats to Chase Grogg, Elaesis Hutto and Anna Cole!
  • Candy Man fundraiser was a great success thanks to your efforts!
  • Technology is on the rise! All 4th & 5th grade students now have laptops. Teachers in all grade levels are utilizing technology in a variety of ways to help our students develop 21st century skills!
  • We have already raised over $725 from our BOX TOP collection. Keep bringing them in through Oct. 21st.

· Wear clothing inside out

“Crazy Hair” you’ve got to be crazy to get involved with drugs

· Wear crazy hair day

Wednesday: Oct 26th

“Be Vested against drugs” Day

· Wear Vests!

Thursday: Oct 27th

“Don’t Let Drugs Sneak up On You”

· Wear Sneakers (Tennis shoes)

Friday: Oct 28th

“Be a hero and stay drug free”

· Dress up as your favorite Super Hero

Pledge Signing

Students will have the opportunity to sign and commit to living a drug and smoke free life!

Just as we protect our kids against illnesses like measles, we can help "immunize" them against drug and tobacco use by giving them the facts before they're in a

risky situation.
