Message from the Principal
Hello Farmington Families Old and New!
I want to welcome you to our Farmington Elementary Community! This is my second year as Farmington Principal. Before becoming a principal I taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades at i4Learning for fourteen years. I have been waiting impatiently for our new year together to begin!
Part of the reason I'm looking forward to this year is our new spaces! Our STEAM lab area has been renovated and has features including: whiteboard tables, a new SMART Board and STEAM kits! Our library has also been updated with the arrival of our new tables and chairs. A fun fact about the tables: they are module and can be assembled in a number of ways to create unique work spaces for any size group!
A greater part of my excitement comes from the anticipation of working with our knowledgeable and caring Farmington staff. We are welcoming back some familiar faces in Mrs. Reysen (3rd), Mrs. Rohrer (Kdg) and Mrs. Hartwick (Trautner) (2nd). In addition, we welcome Mrs. Radmer (1st), Mr. Shriver (Special Education), Mrs. Lendved (Facilities), Mrs. Yerges (paraprofessional), Mrs. McCain (Math Specialist), Mrs. Koepp (Math and Reading Specialist) and Mrs. Bauer (5th). We have an absolute dynamic combination of educators in our building who share my excitement in welcoming the most important group to our building...your family!
The majority of my joy in thinking of our year to come is the students and families we have the opportunity to work with! As a staff we have high hopes that we are able to meet and exceed the expectations you have for your child(ren)'s education. If at any point you have a question or suggestion, please reach out to your child's teacher. If you have any questions or suggestions after speaking with your child's teacher, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. We are a team focused on your child's education and well-being!
Take Care,
Angie Petersen

Routines and Procedures
Class Assignments
School Day Times
Pick-Up and Drop Off Routines
At Open House, you will find a student pick-up card in your oldest child's classroom.
If you will be picking up your child(ren) at the end of the day, please park in a parking stall and bring your card to the gym doors (Door 3). The staff member at the door will get your child(ren)'s name and number and will let your child(ren) know you have arrived. Your child(ren) will come out to you. We ask that you leave the lot as quickly and safely as possible to allow for more families to park and pick up their children.
Families utilizing our before or after school care through Forever Friends should follow the same Drop-Off/Pick-Up procedures and enter through Door 3, indicated with a star on the picture below.
**These routines may change during the year if we find the current procedures do not fit our school needs. Any changes will be communicated to you through a newsletter/Skyward message.**
Bussing
If you have a child entering our 4k program, and would like that child to take our shuttle bus that takes students that arrive at FES to KES in the morning, please contact the Johnson Bus company for more information.
If you have any other bussing questions or requests, or if your bussing needs have changed, please contact the Terminal Manager: Lori Heisler at lheisler@johnsonschoolbus.com or (262) 626-4414.
