Roosevelt Weekly Parent Info
Hello Roosevelt families! A few brief reminders for the week--thanks for taking the time to stay in the know.
• Get on the Beam: Thank you for sponsoring a “beam” in Habitat for Humanity's 2019 “Get on the Beam” campaign. Your students and staff generously donated $70toward Habitat's home building partnership with families in need. Your “beam” will become part of the
next home built. The total amount raised so far is $1507.82 with some beams still in use.• Parade of Graduates: For the last few years, the Mankato seniors return to their elementary school in their graduation robes. Students and staff line the hallways to applaud and cheer as the graduates walk through the building. It is a great event for our students to recognize this accomplishment, for staff and former students to reconnect, and for our students to see what the future holds for them. This year's Parade of Graduates will be held on Friday, May 31.
• End of the Year: The end of the year is fast approaching! Please pay attention to the communication from your child's teacher regarding picnics, end-of-the-year activities, library books that need to be returned, etc. The last day of school is Wednesday, June 5.
