Spotted In The Newsletter!

Dear Whitesides Families,

I will often include pictures from the week at the end of my newsletters. If you happen to spot your child in any of them, email me, and let me know you spotted your child in the newsletter (please include their name). The following Monday, I will announce those students whose parents spotted them in the newsletter, and they will come to the office and get a prize. If you don't want your child's picture taken, be sure to fill out the media opt-out form (found in the Media Opt-Outs section) and return it to the office.

Demographic and McKinney-Vento Forms

Today your child will bring home two documents that need to be completed and returned to school. The Demographic form needs to be updated and the McKinney-Vento form needs to be filled out. Please send completed forms with your child to be turned in to their teacher no later than Friday.

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS TO SIGN

Parents - Please log into your guardian myDSD account and sign all available digital documents. Your child may also have documents they will need to digitally sign.

Dropping Students Off At School

If you drop your student(s) off at school, please follow our procedures:
  • Pull all the way through the drop-off zone to the point where students would enter the playground area. Do not stop directly in front of the school, as this causes traffic congestion.
  • Do not park your car anywhere in the drop-off zone. If you want to walk your student to the door or their class line, you will need to park your car in the parking lot.

For the safety of everyone, please follow these procedures. Thank you.
