Lunch Duty Volunteer
Here is an opportunity to spend a little time with your kiddo during the day, while simultaneously helping your child's teacher out! You can be a lunch volunteer!
The lunch volunteer stands in the lunchroom (along with a third grade teacher) and gives kids permission to get things from the lunch line, use the restroom, throw away trash, etc from 12:45-1:15.
If you are interested in being a lunch volunteer, please sign up here.
Keep in mind, you must be background checked in order to volunteer in any capacity at the school. To complete the background check, go here.
Birthday Invitation Policy
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this matter.
Living History and Economics Fair
Living History will be on May 18th in the Learning Commons. Students will be completing a biography project on a historical figure. Research and speech writing will be done at school, but students will be required to "dress the part" with a costume and props. These do not have to be store bought! Students will be picking their historical figure on May 10th (after STAAR) and preparation can begin!
During our Economics unit, students will be discussing a Free Enterprise System, and will create a product or provide a service to earn money. Students will be able to have a partner or work alone during this project, and the making of their products will be done at school. Your part...your child may need some supplies to create their product to be purchased and brought in to school. More detailed information will be coming home during the beginning of May.
