Mittens, Coats, Feathers and Fur
It was a chilly but fun week learning in room 212!
Cutie pie Caroline and our class had fake snowballs at indoor recess :-)
Giggling Millie and the class learned about the fur God gives animals to stay warm. Plus feathers for birds and flubber for whales (and sometimes Miss Lori if she is not excercising enough).

I confess, I am immature so I’m including my favorite quote of the week (literally potty humor). One of the kids while sitting on the potty was overheard saying, “I’m a little backed up” :-)
Our rule is if it "feels like 40" or above per my weather app we get fresh air so keep packing those mittens and cute hats and coats. The kids need to run around and scream- I tell them they can scream when we go outside so it is very loud as we exit the building :-) If the temp is actually 40 we may still go on an Adventure Walk outside. We look for our shapes, colors and of course the 'merican Flag ( the kids have a hard time with that “A”;-)
Ask the kids what their Bible verse is and make them do the hand expressions-it is adorable.

Some of the Weekday teachers are doing “The Comparison Trap “ as a Bible Study. I am learning the following verse and am going to post it outside our classroom door,
Phillipians 4:8,
...whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
I pray our classroom focuses on these things and we as teachers help these precious kids learn through this lens. Of course God created poo too so we will always have a good laugh at the hilarious things they say. :-)
