Reminder: Cloud Campus Interest List
As a reminder, Click here to put your name on the Cloud Campus list for Semester 2. (New Cloud Families only) . This is a commitment to the end of the year. We will do our best to accommodate all interested families that sign up by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4th. Families will not be able to join Cloud Campus at any other time this year as we are adjusting staffing at the semester to meet the needs. All students not enrolled in Cloud Campus will be a part of the full return in Phase 3 after San Diego County returns to the Red Tier.
Reminder: COVID-19 Procedures
As always, we urge all families to follow the state’s stay-at-home orders, follow local health and safety guidelines, and do your part in helping prevent the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a mask, keeping physical distance of at least six feet from others, and avoiding gatherings outside of your immediate household.
This is critical in supporting our schools in staying open and providing the best quality in person instruction possible. After the Thanksgiving break, we saw an increase in cases resulting in over a hundred individuals having to quarantine and we had to close a school. We want to start this new year of 2021 with our students returning to school in the safest way possible. Your help is needed!
Prior to returning to school in January, please be reminded of the following procedures which are instrumental in keeping our students and our staff safe at school and home.
Parents/Guardian should screen their child(ren) for COVID-19 before taking them to school each day. Specifically, parents/guardians screen their child(ren) for any of the following symptoms associated with COVID-19: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.
If the child(ren) has any of the symptoms above, parent/guardian will not send the child(ren) to school and will notify the school of the absence and any symptoms experienced.
In the event the child(ren) has been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous two weeks, parent/guardian will not send the child(ren) to school and will notify the school that the student has been kept home for this reason. The child(ren) will not be able to return to school until permitted by the School in compliance with direction from the San Diego Health & Human Services Agency and the San Diego Public Health Order.
If families participated in gatherings or traveled during the break, families are strongly encouraged to self-quarantine for 14 days from the last date of travel and/or gathering. Please inform the school office.
