Falcon Ridge Family Updates
November 9, 2020
News and Tidbits
Thank you for your overwhelming encouragement and support during parent/teacher conferences. It is our privilege to partner with you, and we appreciate the positivity and flexibility you model for your young students.
Many of you have asked when we will be opening the doors for all students to return full time. Please know that our decisions are guided by Central District Health's recommendations and the Falcon Ridge school board's vote of approval. The next board meeting convenes Tuesday evening. We will keep you posted in the event of any changes to the hybrid schedule. Thank you for your patience.
This week we honor the men and women who have sacrificed to serve our country. While we cannot assemble in person on this occasion, we will show gratitude in our words and hearts.
An another note, you may have noticed snow in the forecast. In the event of an inclement weather day, you will be notified by the office not to come to the school building. This year, snow days will be remote learning days. In other words, we will continue learning at home. Teachers will communicate their plans for remote learning in the event of a snow day.
As we reflect on the character trait of gratitude this month, we can be grateful for the families, staff, faculty, and students that make Falcon Ridge a wonderful place to learn.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jorgensen
