Have a Great Summer

As our year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for making it through such a unique year. As we look forward to summer vacation, please know that we are planning for a more traditional school year. If you are a current 6th or 7th-grade student, we have our amazing summer school and Dartmouth Days summer opportunities. Our summer school is an excellent opportunity to prepare for the upcoming school year. We have a fantastic staff dedicated to supporting your learning over the summer. Dartmouth Days is a new opportunity to orient students to our campus, and there will be many engaging activities, campus tours, challenges, and other opportunities to engage with your friends.

I hope you all have a great summer and look forward to seeing you back on campus in August!

GOOOOOOO Knights!!!!!!!!

With all the respect the world has to offer,

Cross Country Information

Hemet High will start practice on August 2nd. All athletes need to be cleared through Athletic Clearance. The athletic clearance is something you can complete once your child is registered at Hemet High. You can email Coach Karl at RKarl@hemetusd.org for more information about Hemet High cross country.

There will be a cross country team again this fall at Dartmouth. The team is open to all students in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. There are no tryouts. Everyone who signs up is on the team. There will be an opportunity to sign up in late August. More information will be provided when school begins next August. For questions or concerns before August, please email Coach Siebold at tsiebold@hemetusd.org. The Dartmouth Cross Country Team is looking forward to bringing home more championships again.

I look forward to seeing everyone next fall. Have a safe and enjoyable summer and KEEP RUNNING.

Take Care,

Literary Corner with Ms. Lori

I would like to share a few ideas for summer reads! I'll also try to post some trailers on Facebook throughout the summer that you can see if the public library has for you to check out!

The most recent YA book I've read that I want to share is Heartless by Marrisa Meyer. I really enjoyed this one, I like twists on fairy tales and I hope some of you enjoy it as well!

The next book is Legend by Marie Lu. It is the 1st in a fast paced dystopian series. I read through these books pretty quickly!

Lastly I would like to challenge you, if you are interested, to create your own book trailer this summer and send it to me!! Below is a link with some ideas to help you. You can email it to me at lgoodrich@hemetusd.org

I hope you all enjoy your summer and get time to READ!!!

You can contact me at lgoodrich@hemetusd.org

Happy Reading!
