  • Backpack Program Stats: This year 510 BackPacks were given out at your school, that’s over $2,346 worth of food!

  • Custodial Schedule:
The custodians have been hard at work making our school shine! They will be finished with Kinder, first, 207, Life Skills, room 110 (Joshua Rhine's new room), 612, 610, 609, 608, 210, & 209 by Monday, June 26th. They will be working in second grade next week. They are ahead of schedule! As the custodians finish a pod, I will email out to the staff so that you know when your area is clean and ready to go. Please make note of future e-mails notifying us when we are not to be in the building due to waxing of the floors. We want those floors to gleam and shine without footprints for the entire year. So please follow the requests to not be in the building on the identified dates in the future. Also, please help the custodians. As they finish a pod, they are cleaning the restrooms. If you are bringing your own children with you as you work over the summer, please have your children use the adult bathrooms, not the student bathrooms. This will help ensure that the student bathrooms remain cleaned and help the custodians not to backtrack with their cleaning.

Summer Office Hours:

We will close the office on Monday, June 26th. We will reopen Thursday, July 27th. If you need anything, please call/text me on my cell 979-255-4090.

  • Furniture Requests & Inventory Audit in July:
There is an inventory of basic furniture for each classroom. If you have furniture requests, please e-mail them to me. This would be requests such as additional desks, tables, chairs, etc. that you may need for your classroom. Please do not move the furniture to another room. I will complete a furniture inventory of each room when I return in July to assess our furniture needs.

Mustang Yee Haws!

  • Congratulations Haley Lutz, Gretchen's daughter, who made it as a State Finalist for the Miss Texas Teen Pageant and competed in June at the State Pageant in Houston.
