Washington Mission

The Washington Community works together to create a safe environment where students grow academically, socially and emotionally to become lifelong learners.

Bell Ringers

This year more than ever, we want to add some cheer and fun for our first graders.

We are so grateful to our Washington community and would like to give back to those in need.

The First Graders will be ringing a bell for the Salvation Army starting

November 30th through December 23rd to raise money for our community.

If you are able, please bring your extra change to help us meet our goal.

The first graders will ring the bell before school. They will stand in social distanced in the main hallway. Your child will be given an opportunity to walk down and put their donation in the kettle.

Thank you for helping us help others!

We are using a Virtual Food Drive option and Fargo North students are hoping to rally our Spartan community to support the Great Plains Food Bank in this critical time when the demand is higher than ever and support is more scarce. Taking Care of Your Learning Device

Here's a few tips to keep your learning device in tip-top shape!

  • Keep your device in the black Neoprene bag that was included, when transferring between home and school.

  • Clean the screen by using an electronics wipe, or polish lightly with a damp, no lint cloth.

  • Remember to charge your device every night.

  • Completely shut down your device at least once a week.

Replacement costs: May be paid by credit card, check or cash

Neoprene bag: $10

Charger: $20

Inclement Weather

Please remind your children to dress warmly for their walk to and from school as well as noon recess. Mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, snow pants, and boots are essential for a North Dakota winter. We use windchill temperatures to help us decide whether students go outside for recess. Our magic number is -15.
