SLPHS families,
It was great to welcome students back from spring break and to trimester 3 this week. I hope families enjoyed some quality time with loved ones over the break. We wrapped up Trimester 2 prior to break and final grades will be posted and available through Campus Parent Portal on Monday, March 28.
I am excited to launch this final trimester of the year with new learning for our students and staff. We have maintained in-person instruction all year and I am looking forward to this being our best trimester yet, as students and staff have reestablished productive learning patterns and norms.
I ask that you reinforce with their student(s) the importance of ending the school year strong, with a focus on contributing to their individual learning and the learning of all at SLPHS. Please also reinforce the importance of taking advantage of the learning supports we offer, like S.E.T and academic study times, throughout the trimester.
Spring is always busy. Each year, I look forward to celebrating and recognizing our students and their achievements as the year draws to a close. I specifically anticipate our academic award ceremony in May, and then handing graduates their diplomas as they cross the stage at commencement. Together, let’s make the spring term one that is filled with reasons to celebrate students and our community. One school, one community, #SLPPantherProud!

Students exiting the building during school hours
The safety and security of students and staff is a primary concern at Spring Lake Park Schools. Spring Lake Park High School operates as a Closed Campus.
Once students arrive at school, they must remain on campus until the end of the school day unless they receive authorization from their parents/guardians for dismissal. Students who leave campus without such authorization shall be subject to disciplinary action. Students who need to go out to the parking lots/cars during school hours need authorization from a staff in the main office.
