Information for the Week
Parents,
I will be sending the newsletter early this week since I will be out of town Thursday and Friday. There may be some changes and I will update these as they come. I am posting all information as it is current today.
The students are taking their Timed Multiplication Tests. It is IMPORTANT to remember that these tests are not graded, and are simply skills tests that the student either passes and moves to the next one or fails and has to re-take. Our goal is to have ALL STUDENTS proficient with multiplication facts to 12 x 12. We will celebrate with an Ice Cream Sundae Celebration the Friday before Thanksgiving Break. There is time built into our schedule to make sure all student have the opportunity to take as many tests as possible. PLEASE practice multiplication facts each night. I don't have the students write this down as an assignment because it is something they should do just like reading.
Next Week is Red Ribbon Week. I have a link below with information.
Tuesday, October 27th we will take Fall Pictures. This will not interfere with Red Ribbon week since Tuesday the students will wear CRAZY SOCKS, and you can't see socks in your picture.
*** Computer Lab and PE.. Students need headphones for the computer lab and must wear appropriate shoes for PE. We do not have time for students to change into tennis shoes.
