ATTENDANCE EXPECTATIONS
Students will be expected to attend all blocks Monday through Friday whether in-person or virtually. Teachers will record attendance in PowerSchool to start each academic class in each block of the school day. If your child is absent or requires a late “arrival” or early “dismissal” from school, please call the attendance office.
If a student self screens and is not safe to attend school, the student can access the class remotely and will be recorded as present for the lesson. In this circumstance, please inform the teacher as well as the attendance office. Additional attendance details can be found HERE.

Advice to Complete Independent Work
Create a Daily Schedule: Decide when you will start to work and the order you will work on tasks, how long you will work on each task, and when and how long you will give yourself a break. This is where a checklist is valuable!
Organize Materials: Gather the materials and supplies you will need to complete assignments.
Monitor the Schedule: Make use of the timer or watch to help keep you on track.
Set alerts or reminders: Use a calendar or reminder app for opening of the block live lesson reminders so you do not miss out or to schedule office hours.
Check-In: Make use of the teacher Synchronous Instruction Time to update your progress, ask questions and seek feedback.
