Report Cards and Course Selection
A reminder that the second quarter and first semester of the year closed on Friday, January 17th.
All SHS families should have received an email with their student's report card in PDF on Friday, January 24th. If you believe that you did not receive an email or if you would like a printed report card please contact the guidance office at 647-4180
If you are unable to access the internet or do not have an email, please contact the guidance office and a paper copy will be printed upon your request.
If you believe that you did not receive an email with a report card, please follow these steps.
Check the spam or junk folder in your personal email.
Course Selection Extended though Feb. 1st
A reminder that the Powerschool portal is open for course selection for students in grades 8-11. Please visit our Program of Studies Website to view our course options and our “how to” presentation. We are extending the deadline for course selection! Students must complete their selections by Friday, February 1st. School Counselors have been meeting with each student individually to help with the process. Please reach out with any questions!

This sticker is a reminder that providing alcohol to minors is illegal. With many football fans preparing to watch the Super Bowl, youth will have a greater amount of access to beer in their own homes.

Congratulations to Ms. Feldman’s art students for being awarded gold and silver key awards in the scholastic art and writing competition as well as receiving an honorable mention! Student artwork is currently being exhibited in a state-wide show held at the Alex and Ani Center, Rhode ISland College. The exhibit features the work of all the top RI student artists receiving awards in the year’s competition. The exhibit runs from January 19th through February 2nd.

Honor Society News
Save the date! This year's NHS and RIHS induction ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 22, 7 pm, in the SHS auditorium.
Juniors and Seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher will be contacted by the end of January about applying for membership into National Honor Society. Details about requirements are available in the school handbook.
Rhode Island Honor Society is for seniors only. Prospective members are considered on the basis of character and scholarship. The academic standard is a GPA of 3.300, and character is defined under the National Honor Society guidelines. Mrs. Stormont will be contacting eligible seniors in the spring. If you are a senior who meets these standards, please keep April 22 available.
Yearbook
Any student that did not have their photograph taken by Gene Hutnak Studios the picture is due by FEBRUARY 13th. You can send them in on a flash drive and have your senior bring to Mrs. Terceira or you can email them to scituate.ybc@gmail.com. Baby pictures are also due by February 13th. They can be handed in to Mrs. Terceira. Please put student name on back of baby picture.
Yearbooks will be on sale from January 15th- April 3rd. If you would like a personalized cover you need to purchase by January 30th. To purchase a yearbook: jostensyearbooks.com
