AMENDED CALENDAR - Plan your School Year!

After consultation with union leadership regarding alternate emergency make-up days based on parent and staff feedback, the Board of Education approved changing the following days to emergency days if needed:

  • 2/17/20 Presidents’ Day
  • 3/2/20 Pulaski Day
  • 4/13/20 No School

The above dates will only be utilized if there are emergency days that proceed the listed holidays and this would be communicated with as much advance notice as possible. Read the full Amended School Calendar - 2019-20 Memo for more information.

Innovation Learning Information

We are committed to providing, safe, efficient, and reliable transportation to our students. The District has a partnership with First Student Transportation to provide bus service to students. Other services related to transporting students to and from school, including students with special needs, are also provided within the District. News From The 112 Education Foundation:

This school year remember to upgrade your Highland Park vehicle sticker! By checking the box on your annual vehicle sticker registration you will directly support innovative educational programs for the students in our schools.

Donations support grants that provide STEM and STEAM opportunities allowing students to engage in science, technology, and problem-solving in creative ways. Music, art and performance-related grants provide interdisciplinary opportunities for students to combine curriculum areas.
