What is SAGE?
SAGE (Supporting and Advocating for Gifted Education) is a support group in Grapevine that collaborates with parents and educators.
The mission is to ensure gifted children in Grapevine/Colleyville reach their fullest potential by advocating on their behalf; connecting parents to valuable resources and to each other; and by educating and supporting their teachers and administrators.
If you are interested in joining SAGE, see the link below.
What Are Some Benefits of Joining SAGE?
- You can provide input that will help shape the future of GT education in GCISD.
- You can support the SAGE mission and help to ensure that our GT kids can reach their full potential.
- You can connect to a group of other GT parents that can share ideas and provide support for the unique journey of raising a GT child.
- You can support our GT teachers by helping to provide scholarships for specialized training.
What is The SAGE Page?
Each school has a SAGE representative. Janet Schupp and Terri Walsh are
co-representatives for HES. This blog was created for members as a way to share information from SAGE, and give helpful information on how to support your gifted and talented child. We hope you find this useful and informative.
