Titan Staff News
Week of April 11
Titans,
Thank you for an outstanding week at Tidwell! I appreciate your understanding with my very busy schedule this week. I do miss being on campus when I'm away - promise! We are full throttle in the spring months of the school year. With spring comes many celebrations and challenges. It takes all of us to keep the challenges in check. Now is the time to remain steadfast in your classroom rituals and routines. Keep your expectations high and it'll help keep your stress level lower.
I'll be out at the end of the coming week. While I'm typically available by cell, phone and email, this time I will not be able to be reached. Where I will be going does not have cell service. (A blessing and a curse!) I am confident that our grade level APs will take excellent care of you in my absence.
Have a great weekend,
Kim

Important Information
- Did you know we had a Destination Imagination Team qualify for GLOBALS??!! It's a first in Tidwell history!! Let's come together and help this team raise the funds it takes to get to Tennessee. It's costly - $10,000-12,000 per team! You can help by donating unwanted items to their DI Garage Sale that will be held Sat, April 16 in Saratoga. If you have items, contact Sam Harper or Dawson Dalluge for pickup arrangements.
- Big thank you to Peacock and Mangum for their work preparing the Tidwell Talent Show. It was quite a treat to see our kiddos perform in ways we don't get to see every day.
- Congrats to AVID Teacher of the Month Mrs. Vaitai!
- This is the last call for individuals interested in Department or Team Lead positions. We have so many great leaders on campus - don't be afraid to show it!
- Board of Trustee Awards are due to me today!
- Thank you for your flexibility as we move in to the fun, fun months of spring!

Journal Gallery Walk
Task: Bring three journals to your PLC. Journals need to represent what you expect an exemplary journal to look like. Share out as a group and determine how you can share exemplary pieces of work with all students to increase the level performance for all.
