Crenshaw Cub Connections
October 17, 2021
Crenshaw Families and Parents,
Its a busy and exciting time at Crenshaw right now. We are just about the finish up the fisrt 9 weeks on the 2021-2022 school year. It has been great to see everyone back face to face. We appreciate all the extra steps you are taking to keep our students and staff healthy and safe. Thank you for sending your children with masks and water bottles. We are expecting brand new water filler stations to be installedvery soon. We also thank you for communicating with the office when your children or someone in the household is ill or tests positive for COVID 19. We have to continue to work together as a community.
This week we will host the Follet Book Fair. Students are able to bring money and shop any day this week. Parents can shop by appointment only. Many of our shopping times are already fully booked. However, if you still want to come shop Wednesday morning from 8-10 and Wednesday evening from 4-6 are still open. You may print the reservation form below and send it in or call the school to reserve your spot. \
Next week we will participate in Red Ribbon Week. Ms Edward, our counselor, has lots of fun activities and important lessons planned. You will receive a flyer with all the details in the Wednesday folder.
As the weather gets a little cooler students are bringing jackets to school. Please write their names on the inside tag to help our younger kids keep up.
All kindergarten students now have a special bus tag ID attached to their backpack. This is to ensure that students are on the correct bus and the driver is aware that they are in kindergarten. Kindergarten students MUST have the designated adult waiting at the bus stop in order to be let off the bus. If you choose someone other than the parent to meet the bus you will need to notify transportation of that change - 281-457-8020. Please do not remove the tag from the backpack.
Have a fabulous week !!
