NPA FAMILY UPDATE

April 26, 2021

Greeting NPA Families!

We have rounded the corner of the 2020-2021 school year. This is the last "traditional" assignment sheet as the final one will be all about wrapping up and closing out classes, credits, and grades. The final week of school is the week of June 7, 2021, for grades 9-11. The final week for seniors who will be graduating on June 8 will be that first week of June!

NJUHSD Juniors (class of 2022) will have a modified state testing requirement. For NPA this will be over three days only May 18, 19, and 20. Students will be scheduling themselves for their required math and science test with NPA flexibility as usual. The junior English test will be accomplished through the Apex English 3 final which juniors would be doing anyway. We hope this is the final word on this but we have learned to stay on our toes with the ever-changing Covid protocols.

Summer School - NJUSHD will be hosting a summer school session for credit recovery purposes. More information will be shared as soon as available.

These last few months of the school year will move quickly. Please remember parents/guardians/caretakers are welcome at any and all meetings. The NPA assignment sheet is a form of communication after each meeting. We're committed to seeing our students through with the successful completion of credits. Let's help our students finish strong together.
