Principal's Note
Lamar Families,
We made it! We are finally at the end of what I am sure all families, students, and educators can agree has been an unprecedented school year. Despite being fully virtual, hybrid, in person, virtual again, and back in person again, our school community has weathered this pandemic and our students have prospered. I am looking forward to the many school activities we have planned for May and for our summer camp/ summer school program in June (see flier below).
Next week we will not only celebrate our fantastic educators with Teacher Appreciation Week but also celebrate Career and College Week. Career and College week is jam packed with themed dress days and we are looking forward to the two coinciding celebrations (see flier below)!

Cherokee Reusable Water Bottles for Sale
CDC Guidelines stipulate that water fountains are closed in the school. However, the water bottle refill stations will be open and operate with an automatic ("hands free") sensor. The PTA anticipated this situation and is proud to offer custom Lamar Cherokee water bottles to students for $5. They are available for sell in the office and at the concession stand and are an item on the school-wide supply list. Below are pictures. Call the office with any questions 423-753-1130.
