It's Beginning to Sound a Lot Like Christmas!
So proud of our Liberty Lake choir and the amazing job they did on our Veterans Day music! Special shout out to our awesome soloists: Cannon, Lilith, Benjamin, Scarlet, and Madilyn. Great job!
This morning we starting working on Christmas music. We had a fun time singing through different carols to see which of them we'll use for our concert, learned some fun motions for "The Twelve Days of Christmas", and listened to our performance piece "Love Grows At Christmastime". I included the performance song for students to practice at home.
We will be working on these songs for the next four weeks, culminating in caroling for the school and a performance for the community as well! (See the next section for details).
*Reminder that the doors do not open until 8:05am. Please do not drop students off before then as there is no supervision and they will be waiting outside.
Choir, Christmas Carols and Cocoa...Oh My!
Attire:
Please have students wear their choir shirt and black pants or jeans as well as holiday headwear (Santa hat, headband, etc) and bring coats, gloves, etc for the outside performance.
Volunteers:
We need volunteers! Whether you can donate cocoa, cider, candy canes or volunteer your time to set up and serve, anything is appreciated to make this a special first live performance for our kids in two years! We also are asking for lit Christmas decorations to help make our space festive. They will only be needed for 24 hours. Please click Sign Up Genius below to sign up or email if you'd like to help more. Thank you!
All orders must be submitted by December 3rd.
***If you need financial assistance to purchase a shirt, please contact Mrs. Clark at aclark@cvsd.org.
