Ed Tech Courses to be incorporated into the BEST program
Using enrollment numbers to date and feedback from participants, I propose the following courses for next year. Each course would be 3 hours long, include clock hours and participants would receive online materials for future reference.
Data Collection Strategies for TPEP

Investigate management solutions that will make this process seamless, enabling you to focus on the learning instead of the collection of data.
Unleash the Potential of the iPad in the Elementary Classroom
Mobile technology has changed the nature of teaching and learning! Come learn how the iPad can help to differentiate instruction in the K-3 classroom. Identify the best free and paid applications in literacy, math, science and social studies that will engage students and bring life to the classroom.
Maximizing the Single iPad Classroom
Don't let a single iPad leave you feeling limited in the classroom. Come learn simple and inexpensive ways to maximize instruction and collaboration using a single iPad. We will showcase both free and paid applications that will allow you to simulate an interactive whiteboard, remotely control your desktop, mirror your iPad onto the screen, collect student work, and increase student interaction with technology.
The Power of Edmodo- Intermediate Level
Dig deeper into the social media tool designed for education, Edmodo. This course is intended for those who are familiar with Edmodo and want to take their knowledge to the next level. Learn to manage small groups, create and grade quizzes, export your grade book and upload documents for a variety of formats.
Google Apps for Education
Learn how Google can open the world of new learning experience for you and your students through cloud computing. This course will teach participants how to access, create and collaborate on documents anywhere, anytime.
