MAP Testing Thank you!

I would like to thank all of the families that came to the onsite MAP testing. I was impressed with how diligent the students were. The assessments are valuable and helpful in planning your school year with educational choices. The testing window remains open for one more week and sponsor teachers may run at home testing. Please contact your sponsor teacher if you are interested in testing.

fastbridge testing new to FPCS

ASD has been administering the FastBridge assessment for a few years now, but starting this year the test will also specifically serve to fulfill the requirements of the new AK Reads legislation. It is a great diagnostic assessment that provides useful data about your student's reading.

All kindergarten - 3rd grade students are invited to test. Testing will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, September 20-22, between 3:00pm and 6:00pm, at Central MS / PAIDEIA. The assessment is administered one-on-one and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Students will be tested on a first come / first served basis. You won't need to sign up ahead of time - you can just show up on any one of the three dates provided.

Hope to see you there!
