Beginner Basics
Step 1: Configuring your Teacher iPad
After you turn on your iPad you will need to configure it using Fort Thomas settings. The video below will walk you through the steps of getting started. If you need to, pause the video as you go to follow along.

Step 2: Set up your AppleID
If you don't already have an AppleID to use for school, you will need to create one through iTunes on the iPad. The video below will walk you through how to do that.
Best Practice would be to create an AppleID completely separate from your personal AppleID to avoid sharing personal photos and other content that maybe shouldn't be on a school device. If you're not sure what to do, talk this over with an administrator for guidance. If possible, use your school email address to set up this account.
Before starting, you will need a school email address, an 8 character password that includes upper and lower case letters, a number and if possible a special character. Try to create a memorable passphrase. You will also need a credit card for this step.

If you are setting this up at school, and use an email that is not your school email address, you will need to verify your account by using data on your phone, since email that is not Microsoft based cannot be accessed on our school network.
