The First Week- Week of August 20
How do I know if I am ready?
Homeroom (Do you have one?)
Do you have your name and schedule posted outside your door?
Do you have your roster?
Do you have the Beginning of School Packets for your homeroom students?
Do you have their schedules?
Do you have the explanation of items in the packet so you can explain what to do with the information?
Do you have the schedule printed for the first two days of school?
Do you have the slide presentation ready to present to your students?
Do you have your student handbook signature form?
Do you have your PED student signature form?
What's in these packets and what do I do with this stuff when it comes back to me?
2. Heroes Around Me- you don't need it back
3. Wall of Pride Form- The student returns the form and $25 to the front office. This is handled through Kathleen Joye so not your stuff.
4. Can Club- This form is signed and returned to Mr. Stone in B220 by the student.
5. Pink student emergency form- Just an FYI piece of paper. You don't need it back.
6. Yearbook Form- Directions are on the form for students to mail to Mrs. Ward with a check or pay with a card online. Beth is in B136 if they have questions.
7. Student Emergency Form (Duplicate form)- The students will return and there is a box for it in the front office.
8. Free and Reduced Lunch Application- Students will return to you and there is a box for it in the front office.
9. McKinney Vento Identification Form- Students may return to you and we have a box for it in the front office.
10. Volunteer Form- Students may bring back to you and there is a box for them in the front office.
Classes
Do you have your safety information posted for students (evacuation plan)?
Do you have your accommodations plans organized and know how to seat your students based on accommodations?
Do you know how to take attendance?
Do you have your plans completed for the first week and posted?
Do you have your syllabus ready for students and posted in your Google Classroom and on the web?
Are your rules and consequences posted?
Do you have an agenda ready with Learning Targets and Daily Activities (This can be on your board)?
Is your website ready?
If you are an English teacher, do you know your schedule for Chromebook pick-up?
If you are an English teacher, so you have the information to review for the Honor Code and the signature sheets posted as an assignment in your Google Classroom?
Do you know where to go and what to do for your duty?
