What to Expect the First Day of School

The first day of school is always our favorite! We love meeting our students and seeing their smiling faces. We understand, though, how difficult it is to trust your child to someone else.

Expect there to be a lot of car and pedestrian traffic. Please be patient!

Staff will be out in pink vests to help with anything you need.

Parents may stay with their child until the bell rings. We do ask that parents leave once the school day starts so that teachers may begin their day.

When picking up your child at the end of the day, staff will bring them to you. Our parking lot is generally very crowded with parents picking up and we appreciate your patience as we all have the same goal to get every child home safely!

Make sure your child's teacher knows how he/she is getting home the first two days of school so that we can have each child in the correct location.

Class Placements

You may login to PowerSchool to find out your child's teacher. Please remember that there is always a possibility of a changes. With new student enrollments and numbers changing daily, we sometimes have to make changes to keep classes balanced.

Later this month, families will be able to start using LINQ Connect through the Kuna School District mobile app as well as through our website or they can download a separate app for LINQ Connect.

"What happened to my money MySchoolBucks?

Answer: "It will be transferred to LINQConnect and parents/guardians will see it when they connect to the new system." More information to come!
