Arrival
ARRIVING EARLY-STAYING LATE (STUDENTS):
Time before and after school is used by teachers to plan and prepare lessons and materials. Because teachers are unavailable to supervise them, we cannot allow students to play outside prior to 7:45 a.m. or after 3:15 p.m. Normal arrival time is 7:50 a.m., when supervision is available.
Lost and Found
Every year the school lost and found contains many personal items of clothing that are never claimed. These items are donated to our Bargain Box bi-weekly.
To avoid losing your valuable clothing, parents are asked to clearly label all personal belongings with the child’s name so that lost items may be returned promptly.
Have your student check out the lost and found bin on a regular basis, this is located in the cafeteria hall.
Absences
PLEASE CALL: ATTENDANCE
When you know your child will be absent from school, please call the school between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m. If we have not heard from you, someone from the office will have to call you at home or at work. If we are unable to reach you, it will be necessary to call the emergency names listed on your child’s information sheet.
Transportation-Bus/Pick up
Bus Information-
If your student requires transportation call our bus barn at 587-2851. The attached link shows our bus routes. https://www.park6.org/documents/departments/transportation/2022-2023-bus-routes/366663
Car Riders Kiss and Go-Drop Off in the Mornings-
Parents may drop off in the mornings from 7:45-8:10am. Students may enter the building if they are eating breakfast. If students are not eating breakfast at school, they may follow the sidewalk to the playground with teacher supervision available.
Car Riders Kiss and Go-Afternoon Dismissal-
Students who are using our Kiss and Go may be picked up along the curb. You will stay in your vehicle and follow the other cars, pulling up to the curb in the next available spot. A staff member will then put your student in the vehicle. Please write your students name on a sheet of paper and display this in the upper right hand corner of your dashboard, this will help with the flow of Kiss and Go.
School Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Livingston families, as account holders you can use LINQ Connect for on demand access to your student's school account. This link is located below for easy access. If you created one last year, this will be the same login information.
With this secure meal account, you can easily make meal payments, link student accounts, access menus, track purchases and more!
Also, please make sure to fill out our FREE AND REDUCED meal application. Even if your children don’t eat school lunch, there might be other benefits to qualifying for free or reduced-price meals. We have the link below to fill out the form, or you may get a copy from the office.
The amount of funding schools get from the federal government, the state, and the district can depend on how many of their students qualify for the subsidized meals. The forms are used to measure assistance, which may qualify schools to receive more resources for students.

P.E. w/Mrs. Schramm.
Athletic shoes are essential to your child's success and safety in P.E. All students should have a separate pair of non-marking tennis shoes for P.E. These should be labeled with their name and left at school. Our "Hello, it's me, I'm the problem" board shows the students shoes that are not safe and/or appropriate for P.E., this does include Hey Dudes. If you need help getting your child appropriate P.E. footwear, please contact Mrs. Schramm or Mrs. Simmons. Thank you for supporting P.E.
