Michael Jordan's life bio

Michael Jordan was born on February 17,1963. Jordan was born in Brooklyn,New York. Jordan's parents decided to move to Wilmington, North Carolina when he was still a toddler. Jordan grew up with 2 older brothers, 1 older sister, and 1 younger sister. Jordan was cut from the high school basketball team his sophomore year, this then made Jordan feel the need to push himself even more and keep practicing and he made the team the next year.Jordan led his high school team to win the state championship. The next year Jordan got a basketball scholarship to the University of North Carolina. Jordan led the tar heels to the win national championship. Jordan then decided to go into the NBA draft. Jordan was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 NBA draft. Jordan's first year in the NBA was a good start to his career as he won the rookie of the year award. Jordan ended up being arguably the best player of all time. Jordan won 6 NBA finals,he is a 6 time NBA finals MVP ,he won 5 MVP awards, was selected for 14 all star games, he is a 2 time Olympic gold medalists, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Jordan is still apart of the NBA today as he is the owner of the Charlotte Hornets.

Resolution

Jordan got cut from his high school basketball team. This led Jordan to keep pushing himself even harder and to keep striving to get to that point of success. The next year Jordan tried out for the team and made it. Not only did he make it he was the best player on the team, leading them to win the State Championship. Jordan once said "I can except failure,everyone fails at something.But I can't except not trying". This quote tells us that if you put in the work and just try, you will succeed.
