About Me
I am 21 years old. I was born in Leominster, Massachusetts, but moved to Myrtle Beach, SC when I was 8 years old. At the college, I am an Elementary Education major. I hope to teach third grade at a Title 1 school after I graduate, but would obviously love teaching no matter the grade level. I am a lover of dogs and all things food! I have a passion for photography and often take pictures of my family and friends. I love to travel with my family and friends, especially to the Caribbean. I consider myself a person that "goes with the flow" and I laugh at everything. :)
Dennis 💕
My boyfriend, Dennis, and I have been together for almost 5 years! We met in high school when he was a senior and I was a sophomore. We started dating soon after he graduated and have been together ever since! This photo was from our first vacation together at Universal Studios Florida in May!
Family 🌸
My family is really close. My parents have always been super supportive of my older brother and me. I'm lucky to have such great family! My older brother, Caulen is 4 years older than me and graduated from CofC in 2013! He now teachers Physical Education at AC Corcoran Elementary in N. charleston and couches football at Garret Academy!
Friends 😝
I have been so lucky to make so many great friends through CofC! The ladies in this photo and so many more!
Lucy🐶
My dog Lucy who is almost 5 years old, is a border collie/jack russell mix. She has a lot of energy, does doggie yoga, and likes to be held like a baby!
Charleston Hope
I am involved in a non-profit that was started by my friend, Emily! Charleston Hope aims to serve title 1 schools and to inspire the next generation!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Car rides are my favorite with great friends!
More memories!
I love going to festivals and sporting events with my boyfriend and our friends!
Why education?
I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I would make my friends be students as I pretended to be a teacher to them! (Even my stuffed animals were my students when I was younger) I have a lot of great memories in the classroom and enjoyed going to school everyday. I hope to be that teacher that kids remember for years to come!
My favorite school memory!
My fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Schroyer, was my absolute favorite teacher from Elementary School. I remember at the end of the year, we would have to do PACT testing and she was reading the directions out loud to us. She got to a part that said.. " When time is up, put down your pencils and STOP..." and then she started singing... "in the name of love, before you break my heart!!" It was really funny and everyone's nerves went away about the test.
