Updates from Manassas Park Middle School - 11/9/2018
Week 11 - Welcome to November!
What a wonderful way to open November! We started with a wonderful turnout of parents coming to visit the school on Tuesday and then had our first class field trip of the year, with the 7th Grade going to see Abira and the Mountain at the Hylton Performing Arts Center!
On Tuesday we are excited to welcome JLine Dance Crew - they will be giving each grade a performance featuring a message of self-respect, effort, hope, and perseverance mixed with some fantastic hip-hop dance. Have you seen America's Best Dance Crew? Imagine that... brought to MPMS!

Please Help Us Develop the 2019-20 School Calendar!
Below you will find a link to a survey regarding the development of 2019/20 academic school year calendar. It contains nine questions and is expected to take less than two minutes to complete. Your feedback may be used to make adjustments to two models that are currently in development. Both models will be presented to the School Board at their December 2nd work session. I will be seeking an approved academic calendar at the December 17th school board meeting.
The survey will be open until Friday November 16, 2018.

A note from Nurse VonVital!
Please remember to maintain current school health records. At the beginning of every school year students, with known allergies to food and /or insects stings, asthma, or seizure disorder, need health plans to be completed by their parent/guardian and physician. In the event of an allergic reaction, asthma attack or seizure during school hours, this form provides step by step directions as to how to manage each child’s condition. With that said, please update emergency contacts, and phone numbers. If you have any questions regarding your child’s health, please feel free to contact me.
