#FalconsNest In-Person Student Experience
Friday, February 25th
The purpose of this visit is to give students a tour and understanding of their 6th-8th grade experience. Our very own students will be presenting and driving much of this experience. This experience is for students only and is arranged during the school day with your respective elementary school. There is nothing you need to do, but we wanted you to know so you can talk to your kids about it.

LOST & FOUND
Please check in at the front office and look through the items to try to recover anything your child may have lost.
Beginning now, on the last day of every month we will donate all items that remain in the lost & found.
Want to help keep lost & found more organized? If you are a parent who would like to help regularly with the lost & found, please reach out to our receptionist, Ms. Natasha.
Dear Parent/Guardian of 5th grade girls:
Due to challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic, your child has not received a spinal
screening. Spinal screening can detect abnormal spinal curvatures at an early stage and early
detection is important for controlling spinal deformities.
The Department of State Health Services encourages you to take your child(ren) to a medical
provider for well-child exams. During these appointments you may ask for a spinal screening. If
your provider screens your child, please provide those results to the district (pass or fail) for our
records.
Signs your child may have an abnormal spinal curvature:
● Uneven shoulders or hips
● Ribs that are prominent or stick out in one area
● Muscles that are prominent in the lower back or bulge on one side
If you would like your child screened for scoliosis, please submit a Student Spinal Screen Request.
If your child was screened at their annual well-child exam, please submit those screening results to
your campus nurse. Please note, if you choose not to submit a screening request at this time, you
may still contact your campus nurse at a later date if a new concern arises, and they will be happy
to screen your child.
Thank you,
Lindsay Kreienheder
