County Collaboration at its Finest!
Burlington County Counselor's Association welcomed BCSSSD & BCIT administrators and students for a district presentation.
Dr. Manno, Dr. Bonsall, and Ms. Downs presented on BCSSSD, BCIT, and BCSS Alternative School. In addition, a few of our students spoke about their experiences as a student of BCIT and the Alternative School. Thank you to our students; all were articulate, confident, and prepared.
April is National Autism Awareness Month! Show your support by wearing BLUE every Thursday in April.
BCIT and BCSS came together for a Leadership Development Session. They are studying key process skills of effective leadership.

Principal McLemore awards 11th Grader, DeAndre Wilson, the Principals Award!
Congratulations DeAndre Wilson on winning the Principals Award! "In his 3 yrs at BCSS Jr/Sr HS, DeAndre has continually shown growth and maturity, both socially and academically. DeAndre has maintained a high academic standard as well as displaying excellent school attendance. This year, DeAndre was able to maintain his academics, even while having to deal with his mother’s medical issues", remarked Mr. McLemore.
DeAndre also excels in woodworking shop and is a very good craftsman. He is on the school’s work study program and helps assist his teacher with minor repairs. DeAndre’s’ goal is to pursue a career in woodworking and carpentry. DeAndre also enjoys music and singing.

Ms. Adrienne Arena's PASC hosted students, at the Magowan school in Edgewater Park; they dyed, peeled, & made deviled eggs.

BCSSSD 12th Annual Safety Breakfast, Media Center, April 15
A delicious breakfast was served by safety members to their guests as Mr. Cook's band entertained. Honored guests included Mrs. Price, Mrs. Strug, Mr. McLarney, Mr. Chrusz (AAA coordinator for Mid-Atlantic Safety program), & Mrs. Brown, to name a few.
The safety patrol is made up of 15 elementary middle school students all exhibiting level four like behavior while at school.
