Thank you to the many parents, students, staff and community members who have reached out with questions, concerns and ideas about the District’s safety protocol and crisis communications practices.
We have updated our frequently asked questions document to address questions and additional topics raised at the March 15 Board meeting. The updated FAQ is available on the District website, under a new School Safety tab that has been created to provide quick and easy access to important safety information.
As directed by the Board, District administration continues to review our current safety plan, practices and policies to determine ways to enhance both our response and communications during a serious incident or threat. We will be presenting recommendations for the Board to consider at its Wednesday, April 19 meeting.
