Distance Learning Information

Welcome Tree Frogs!

As a reminder, our school year, which will be virtual, due to COVID-19, will start on September 8th.

Online instruction will take place from 8:30 AM-3:00 PM with synchronous (live) and asynchronous (prerecorded) as well as independent learning activities.

Screen time will be developmentally appropriate, with intermittent breaks throughout the day. Our distance learning schedule will be posted on our website, however, your child's teacher will provide you with a very detailed schedule of the actual time for learning within each subject area.

Monday, August 24

Virtual Open House Slide Show - On Monday, August 24th, parents will receive an email message with a grade level Back to School slide presentation that will provide important information about your child's virtual learning.

The email will provide a link for your child's grade level. We are asking that you view the slide presentation in advance of our upcoming Q & A session, which will be held on Aug. 26th.

Wednesday, August 26

Each grade level will provide a Live - Virtual “Meet the Teacher” Question and Answer (Q & A) Session” on ZOOM so that your child's teacher can provide further information and answer your questions about our distance learning.

You can tune in to one of the live Zoom sessions to attend the Virtual Meet the Teacher Q & A. You will need to click on your child’s grade level to attend the appropriate session.

Thursday, August 27

Chase Town Hall Meeting - Live-Virtual, 6 PM. Parents can ask questions about the upcoming school year on August 27th from 6-7 PM.

Back to School "Drive Thru"

Instead of our regular Ice Cream Social, this year we will have "Back to School Drive Thru".

Resources and materials will be distributed to students. In addition, students needing a device (chrome book or iPad) will receive one at the Drive Thru.

Ice cream will also be provided.
