October Social Skill - Problem Solving
During the month of October, we are discussing how it’s okay for people to have different ideas regarding how to solve a problem. Students will be learning that it is fair to listen to everyone’s ideas and work together to choose a solution that makes everyone feel okay. Students will be taught to use the following strategy when they have a problem or disagreement.
· STOP and calm down.
· TALK about each person’s perspective so you understand the problem.
· THINK of possible solutions.
· TRY a solution and see how it works for everyone.
