Awards Night - May 2nd, 7:15pm in HS Gym
Students are notified by invitation in the mail.
Last Day - May 21st
Students will attend 1-4 hours then walk to Richland Twp. Park for a potluck lunch. They will then return to the high school at 12:30-12:45pm to receive their gowns. They will wear their gowns and walk over to the Middle and Ling schools for a walk through. Students that attended St. Peter will go there for a walk through.
Cap & Gown Handout - May 21st
Caps & gowns will be handed out on the senior’s last day for their walk through at the other schools. Fees must be paid in full. If you require your cap & gown for SCC ceremony or a church function prior to this date, please call the office.
Exams - May 21st & 22nd
For those students that need to take them. Students arrange date and time with teacher.
Rehearsal - May 30th, 9am in HS Gym
All seniors planning on participating in Commencement program need to attend rehearsal. Each student will receive 8 pre-seating tickets at rehearsal. These tickets allow the holder to enter the gym on June 2nd, 1:15pm-1:45pm, all others will be allowed in at 1:45pm if space is available. Those students participating in Baccalaureate will stay after to rehearse for that ceremony.
Baccalaureate - May 30th, 7pm in HS Gym
If any seniors are interested in performing any kind of special talent, a sign-up sheet will be placed on the table outside the office beginning in May. All acts must be approved by Mr. Green.
Commencement - June 2nd in HS Gym
Sunday, June 2nd at 2pm in the high school gymnasium. Students are required to be in the student center at 1:15pm in order to received NHS sash (for NHS students), flowers, program, etc.

4/3/19 - V Baseball @ Freeland - Game 1: W (7-4) Alex Ostrowski pitched 4 Innings with 5 K's with 3 earned runs on 3 hits and 5 walks. Mason Countegan came in to pitch the final two innings with 1 K and 1 earned run with 0 walks. Mitch Hingston started the seven run rally in the 4th inning with a double that brought in three runs. Mason Countegan hit a single later in the inning that brought in 2 runs. Mason LaDouce followed it up with a single that brought in two runs before the Huskies were retired in the 4th inning. Game 2: L (1-5) Connor Hahn pitched 4 1/3 innings and gave up 4 earned runs on 1 hits and 8 walks. Nick LaFrance Came in to pitch the final 2 2/3 Innings with 2 K's and 1 earned run on 3 hits and 2 walks. Mitch Hingston and Connor Hahn both had singles.
4/3/19 - V Softball @ Freeland - Game 1: L (3-7) Madison Martinez went the distance pitching 6 innings with 5 K’s. Nicole Miller and Courtney Boehler each contributed a hit, while Madison Martinez was 2 for 3 with a double and a triple. Alaina Bouliew was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and an RBI. Charlotte Brady added an RBI. Game 2: L (1-9) Charlotte Brady pitched one inning while Madison Martinez went the distance pitching 4 innings with 6 K’s. Nicole Miller contributed a single while Alaina Bouliew went 2 for 2 with 2 singles.
4/4/19 - V Soccer @ Swan Valley - L (2-6) Emma Sollner scored the first goal for the Huskies 14 minutes in. Sierra Yell added the second 25 minutes later with a cross from Kali Jimenez. Abby Tennant had a great game in goal notching 29 saves against a very talented Viking attack.
4/5/19 - JV Baseball @ Millington - Game 1: L (5-13) Game 2: W (1-0) Perfect game thrown by Max Dinninger.
4/5/19 - V Softball vs. Millington - Game 1: L (0-12) Coryn Boyke had one hit. Game 2: L (0-15) Gracie Radosa and Alaina Bouliew each added a hit.
4/5/19 - V Baseball vs. Millington - Game 1: L (6-7)Jonas Kanouse pitched 5 1/3 Innings with 10 K's and gave up 2 earned runs on 2 hits and 3 walks. Mason Countegan came in to pitch the final innings with 1 K and 0 earned run with 1 walk. The Huskies had control of the game until the last inning. A handful of errors in the 6th gave Millington a 7 to 5 lead. The Huskies were able to get one more run in the final at bat and the tying run was tagged out at home plate. Dylan LaGrow had 2 hits and 3 RBI's. Mason Countegan had 3 walks and 2 Runs. Corbin Larkin had 3 walks and 1 Run. Game 2: T (4-4) Game stopped due to darkness. Mitch Hingston pitched 4 innings with 8 K's and gave up 2 earned runs on 2 hits and 5 walks. At the plate - Jonas Kanouse had two hits and 1 RBI. Mitch Hingston, Corbin Larkin, Alex Ostrowski all had 1 Hit with 1 RBI.
4/6/19 - V Girls Track @ Freeland - 7th place. Medal winners were Kendra Salo 3rd place in 200 Meter Dash and 4th in Long Jump, Reagan Keyser took 3rd in High Hump and Molly Schaffer took 4th place in Discus.
4/8/19 - V Golf vs. Merrill, Breckenridge & Swan Valley - Huskies finished 2 shots behind Swan Valley in the first annual Hemlock 2-man scramble on Monday featuring teams from Merrill,Breckenridge and Swan Valley. Leading the way the team on Anthony Hagarty and Nolan Finkbeiner with a 38 and Carson Countegan also with a 38, JJ Meier and Jarret Wiegold rounded out with a 39.
4/8/19 - JV Soccer vs. Bay City Central - W (8-0) Haylee Near and Alex Grzenia each scored 3 goals. Becca Willour and Reagan Keyser each scored 1 goal. Magan Chanin and Shelby Collins each had 1 assist. Alexis Guerrero picked up her 3rd straight shutout. This win brings the team to a 3-0 record.
4/8/19 - V Soccer vs. Bay City Central - W (2-1) Emma Sollner opened up the scoring 8 minutes in on an overlapping run with the assist coming from Emilie Peitsch. Emma added the winning goal 15 minutes into the second half off a rebound with the assist coming from Kali Jimenez. Abby Tennant finished the game in goal with 11 saves in goal.
4/9/19 - JV Soccer vs. Bay City Western - L (0-3) Although scoring opportunities were slim, Alex Grzenia, Reagan Keyser, and Megan Chanin all were able to get shots on the Bay City Keeper. Alexis Guerrero played an amazing game in goal, often making multiple saves seconds apart to keep it close all game long. She finished the game with 21 saves.
4/10/19 - V Golf @ Alma Jamboree - 5th place. Anthony Hagarty led the team with a 46, Nolan Finkbeiner at 50, Carson Countegan at 51 and Andrew Knoll at 52.
4/10/19 - V Soccer vs. Valley Lutheran - L (0-6) Despite much improved play in the midfield and a great defensive game by Kylee Ryder, the Huskies were unable to overcome the Valley Lutheran Charger attack. Olivia Watson had 11 saves in goal including a stop on a penalty kick.
