April Issue
Parent Resources
Several resources will be available to
parents in the coming months. We are
starting a Parent Library and will have
books on helpful parenting topics from
discipline to finances to nutrition. If you
have a title in mind you would like to see
us provide, please contact our librarian,
Dona Thompson at
Mr. Arrigo, our guidance counselor will
have links to parent resources and helpful
information on our website. Finally, we
will be listing parent resources on our
website to help with the new College and
Career Ready Standards. Stay tuned!!
Family Matters
The topic for the night is
health and fitness. Some of
our teachers will be talking
about the how we have
implemented health and
fitness into the school day
and how parents can keep
their kids active and healthy
over the summer. Students
that have a parent or
guardian in attendance will
receive a homework pass
from Mr. Weeks. Childcare
for school-aged children
and snacks will be provided.
Participants will be entered
in a drawing for a gift card
just for attending! Please
join us Monday, April 7th,
from 5:30-6:30.
Please help us!
We have two needs with which
we need assistance. We have a
short in the wiring of our speaker
box and are looking for someone
with technical sound system
knowledge who could volunteer
their services to fix it. We also are
raising money to break ground on
a Pre-K playground. We have
several pieces donated but are
attempting to raise approximately
$15,000 to complete the play area.
If you can help in either area,
please contact Principal Weeks at
the email below!
