Blue Ash Elementary News
June 4, 2021
Upcoming Events....
We strutted our stuff on the red carpet.
We danced up a storm.
And we laughed. Oh how we laughed!
From Mrs. Combs and Mrs. Ament.....
We knew as we planned for the 2020-21 school year that it was not going to be an easy year. Yet even with all of the challenges that this Pandemic threw our way, we need to take a moment to recognize that this year was an amazing success. It was the perfect time for all of us to show our best selves, and we did. Our Blue Ash Elementary Community rose to the challenges; and whether learning remotely or learning face to face, our children, our staff, and our families never gave up. We never lost sight of what is important -- our children continuing to grow and to flourish.
Thank you to our parents for being active and committed learning partners, for being flexible and supportive, for helping to make this year as “normal” as possible, and for sharing your beautiful children with us.
Thank you to our teachers and staff for tirelessly working with a dedicated, positive, and encouraging attitude. You came every day with your “A” game, and turned an uncertain year into a fun, engaging and even exciting experience.
Thank you especially to our students. You simply amazed us. We learned as much from you as you learned from us this year….how to never give up, stay positive, encourage others, and look for the good around us. We know that you will be successful in any future challenges because of how well you worked through this one.
So here is to an Epic Year. We hope that you all have great memories of how we worked together to make it great. And we hope that you all have a peaceful and restful summer!
With Sincere Appreciation and Pride,
Mrs. Combs and Mrs. Ament
4th Grade Celebration music video!
We are so proud of our 4th grade students, and will miss them as they leave BAE. This year our amazing students collaborated on a special project as their music portion of the annual 4th Grade Celebration. We send a special Thank You to our teachers who gave so much love, effort and energy with this project, especially Mrs. Kremp!!
With the theme "We Are Light" students play bucket drums with light up drumsticks, create lanterns in art class and let them fly in media. They create sound effects and motions for a popular poem. They create choreography that will blind you with light. We hope you enjoy this music video!
