This year's Friendship Festival T-Shirt gives you free entrance to this year's Friendship Festival which will be on February 26th.

Valentine's Day Project

A Valentine's Project was sent home earlier in the week. Students are asked to write compliments as Valentines to their classmates. Supplies have been provided and an updated class list was sent home on Monday. The Valentines will be exchanged on Sunday, February 14th, so they are due that day at the latest. If they are finished earlier we will happily store them at school in preparation for the party on the 14th. It is a very fun and successful project we do each year in first grade. The class and I talked about being fair and including everyone, as well as trying to keep our Valentines similar in order to avoid hurt feelings in class. Thank you for your support with this fun project at home.

Friendly Reminder: Homework Routine

Thank you to everyone who has been following the homework and folder routine. Please remember the following:

  • Thursday: return to school- green homework folder with completed homework, mesh zippy pouch with home reading books completed
