Students in Mrs. Wolf's 2nd grade class worked on persuasive writing.
Students each picked a product and wrote to the company about what they liked about the product and gave suggestions to make the product even better.
Four students wrote to Frito Lay about the chips they sell. Pat Wolter visited our classroom to share about the Frito Lay company.

Notes from the Music Room
*Our 3rd and 4th graders are working hard in their recorder groups. Students are learning new pieces to play, and learning new notes as they progress.
*Our 2nd graders are working very hard on their 2nd grade Musical called "The Principal and the Pea" The musical will be presented on May 10th at 7:00. Please put this date on your calendars! We are beginning in-class auditions for solos and speaking parts. The students are learning to follow a musical score and learning movement to the songs. We look forward to performing for you! Please watch for further communications about any extra practices and costume information.
*Our first graders are learning new songs and playing instruments with the songs. We have recently learned to play hand bells, and are currently working on xylophones. We are also learning about different instrument families, such as Brass, Woodwind, Strings and Percussion instruments.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
Thanks for all of your support with Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart. We are over $24,000 and I will have a final total soon. As I said in earlier newsletters, this amount will put the school over the 1/4 Million $ mark for our school over 13 years!!!! AMAZING
Another Thank You to the PTO for the awesome rock climbing/traverse wall. The students are already putting it to good use and having a great time with it.
